Deepen Your Mind and Spirit Through Equine Partnership
Welcome to Equus Spirit Coaching
We speak through our bodies. We know one another through the energy that we contain and project. By connecting with horses through a shared language of the body, we can develop greater self-awareness, create connection and reduce personal anxiety. By coming to understand the language of the human and equine bodies we can learn how to respond rather than react when presented with questions or challenges in our lives. Join us for the dance.
Who I Am
My name is Kerry Loupe and my journey with horses began in childhood, but I did not begin to share my life with them until 2006. I am a longtime teacher and hold a Masters Degree in Education. In 2015, I earned my Equine Coaching Certification through the Academy for Coaching with Horses in Colorado. I have had the privilege of facilitating this work with individuals, couples, and groups in Maine, Colorado and Arizona. I continue to deepen my understanding of the horse daily as I share my life with my equine partner, Adagio.

FAQs
What IS Equine Assissted Learning?
Simply put, Equine-Assisted Learning is a powerful and effective approach to experiential learning that includes horses and is designed to have a positive impact on individuals of all ages. It facilitates personal growth and helps to develop social/emotional skills through the process of working closely with an equine partner. See What is Equine Assisted Learning? It is NOT therapy! This is a very important distinction as an EAL practitioner is not typically a licensed therapist.
Who can benefit from this work?
Everyone. Anyone. This work can be a benefit to people of all ages and demographics.
Do I need to have previous horse experience?
Not at all. Sometimes coming to this work WITHOUT any horse experience can be helpful.
What does a Session look like?
Every session is unique and tailored to each client’s needs. Generally, every session will begin with a Check In, a grounding exercise such as a Body Scan, as well as a setting of an intention for the session. The horses also get to have a say in this process and we will work together to see which horse might be willing to join us on any given day. Sessions can last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on what wants to happen. This is often referred to as Horse Time. You will be on Horse Time when you work with us.
